As an educator, Taylor performs masterclasses at major institutions and conferences. In 2023 he served as a presenter at the International Trumpet Guild Conference in Minneapolis, MN. He also spoke at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, discussing team dynamics and leadership to rising business students. He currently serves as an Assistant Instructor at the African American Arts Institute.
